Job Description:

A great opportunity for an experienced Accountant on a fixed term basis until December.

The Accountant will be responsible for finance operations including preparation and distribution of timely and accurate financial reports, and maintenance of key accounting systems and internal controls. This position will look after several direct reports and help the Finance Manager with higher level decision making.

The role will be well suited to an individual with good technical skills that is looking to make a transition into an all rounder role. The role will be suited to someone who is driven and proactive and is interested in working for a Not-for-Profit organisation.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day financial processes, ensuring that processes are effective and efficient as possible

Support the external accountants to ensure the information is available to complete all reporting requirements and tax obligations.

Provide support and leadership in the finance team and wider business

Analysing data collected to determine and report the state of the company’s financial health.

Requirements

Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a business related field.

Completed a CA Qualification or Equivalent

Minimum of two years post qualification accounting experience

Experience with XERO would be advantageous
