My client is a family run business based in West Auckland, who have an excellent culture and the staff retention is high. This is a permanent opportunity, with normal office hours Monday - Friday.

Opportunities like this are highly sought after, and they don't come along often. We're looking for the best in administration, and if you come from a chemistry background, even better. However, if you don't we still want to hear from you.

This isn't your average administration role, this is a technical role that requires a person with strong analytical skills and the Excel ability to match. You will need to have good mathematical understanding to perform well in this role. The successful applicant for this role will not only be incredibly organised, but also meticulous with the accuracy of work they produce.

Without further ado, here is what the role entails

Evaluating customer and resource requirements and developing an efficient and effective means of processing costing information

Assist in developing, planning, maintaining and implementing new costing procedures

Develop customer pricing formats

Assist to optmise costing formulations and the development, processes and software that will help facilitate the handling of work through the company

To be successful in this role

Previous relevant experience is essential, exposure to chemistry is advantageous, however those with the right attitude and willing to learn will still be considered

Strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and good mathematical understanding

Intermediate to advanced Excel skillsOrganisational and time management skills

As this is a permanent role, those only with NZ Citizenship or permanent residency will be considered for this role
