About the Role

Reporting through to the Facility team lead the Technical Account Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional service and best practice account management for customers across the Auckland and Northern region.

Responsibilities include

You will be partnering with people tasked with safety in operational areas such as warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, ports

You will be part of converting leads into sales by assessing risks, understanding the operating environments, and proposing effective & tailored solutions

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining close working partnerships with key accounts

You will be responsible for accurate site assessments and matching solutions to risk areas

Your actions will compliment a team that consistently achieves a world class NPS score of 73+

About You

You will be the face of Vanguard for the greater Auckland region and come with existing account management experience.Ideally, you will have been in an Account Manager role from the industrial, manufacturing or safety equipment space, however this is not essential.

You will have a high level of emotional intelligence and the skills to understand and communicate with stakeholders at all levels from smaller businesses to large manufacturers (Speak their language)

You will be familiar with a solution selling process. This is a varied role where the ability to think on your feet, understand the challenges, and recommend solutions for Vanguard customers will be essential.

You will be practical minded with ability to visualize & communicate what is involved in assembling and installing the solutions you propose.

You will be driven and motivated to succeed and possess a high work ethic with the ability to plan and structure your time autonomously.
