Job Description:

This is really a fantastic opportunity to join an Organisation that provide services for their community and families and make a positive impact on their quality of life. They are National Not for Profit organisation based in Grafton, that provide a diverse range of services and support for children and adults that are suffering from a life long medical condition.

Their mission statement is to "optimise quality of life for people with this medical condition and their families, striving for normal life expectancy and a cure".

This is a critical role within their small team of office support where the main purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance to the Chief Executive and the Board.

Key Accountabilities

Provide a range of administration and secretarial support to the Chief Executive and Chairperson

Prepare and co-ordinate all Board papers for Board meetings approximately 6 times a year

Take minutes on a laptop of Board meetings mostly via zoom

Responsible for day to day office consumables

Overseeing the Health and Safety register and making sure First Aid kit etc is up to date

Look after property and car leases and insurance

Assist with grant schemes and complete bank and credit card reconciliations

Update and maintain their membership register

Manage any travel arrangements and diary management

Ad hoc project work as requiredWhat you'll bring to the team

Previous experience in a similar role where ideally you have some exposure to Board Meetings but not essential

Be a competent user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and ideally PowerPoint

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Be highly supportive, flexible and adaptable
