Job Description:

My client is the leading public sector recruitment specialist in Wellington, applying a level of expertise that you won’t find in other recruitment agencies. They recruit public sector roles in the following areas: policy, project/programme management, governance, communications and engagement, business analysis and more!;Due to an internal promotion, the contracting team are looking for an experienced Talent Manager to join their busy, fun and friendly team. In this role you will be the Talent Manager for two consultants. Conveniently located right in the heart of the CBD, at brand new offices.;The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in building and maintaining talent pools, utilising recruitment tools to source for specific roles, conducting candidate interviews, completing reference checks and seeking out and providing market intelligence to the sales team.;To be successful in this role you must have;A great attitude, be customer focused and professional.;Experience working in a fast paced temp/contract environment is ideal.;Excellent time management skills with a high ability to prioritise and pivot between projects in a fast-paced environment.;The ability to engage with mid-senior level candidates.;Demonstrate initiative and intellectual curiosity.;A willingness to learn, share knowledge and support candidates to achieve their career goals.;Strong coordination skills and an ability to see tasks through to their conclusion.;Initiative: this role has a degree of autonomy, so self-discipline and being a pro-active self-starter is important.;Excellent verbal communication skills for candidate meetings and pivoting between two consultants.;Excellent written communications skills for liaising with candidates and clients, writing candidate profiles, adverts and conducting reference checks.;This is a fantastic role for someone who is a great people person, has some knowledge, understanding and interest in the public sector, and who is looking to take their recruitment career to the next level.
