Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Construction Site Manager to assist with an accomodation project in Queenstown. Reporting to the Project Manager you would be responsible for ensuring that all project objectives for time, cost, quality and safety are managed to achieve the highest standard. The role varies from managing one component of works on a larger project to managing the physical construction of smaller, less complex projects.

This is initially a 3-6 month contract but can lead to an ongoing role. This role could suit a recent arrival to Queenstown, someone who is between contracts or who is a newer construction project manager looking to get some further experience.

We are looking for an experienced, NZ qualified builder for this role. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, with good organisational skills who has experience with the required key tasks.

Key tasks would require demonstrable experience through references and testimonials and will include -

Health and Safety Management

Day-to-day leadership on site

Commercial tendering process

Construction scheduling

Reviewing drawings & specifications

Sub-contractor selection and management

Site set up, organisation and administration

Quality management

Reporting
