? About the Role

Based in Takapuna

Reporting into the awesome HOM and sitting within a close-knit team, this newly created role is tasked to lead the company strategy in the KiwiSaver category owning the KiwiSaver marketing plan from strategy to implementation.

This is mainly B2C marketing however with some B2B partnership marketing in TTL channels with a focus on digital, DM, direct response, customer care, events and partnerships.

This role is heavily data-led, driving engagement and retention campaigns across the customer lifecycle and within a variety of customer segments. The world is your oyster with this role!

Plus, you work closely with the HOM, MarComms Manager, Digital Acquisition Manager and Marketing Automation to drive business goals.

Working with stakeholders within the business, including C-suite, this role also works closely with external agencies to help deliver marketing campaigns which is high pace with a delivery focus.Both a strategic and on the tool’s role a thorough and future focused ability to own and deliver on CLC, CX, digital (website, Martech/automation, email etc), DMs, events, collateral and other relevant B2C/B2B comms is required to acquire and retain customers.

About You

You will have 10+ years marketing experience in the services sector.

This is a senior (mostly B2C) marketing role and requires someone with the ability to see big picture leading the company KiwiSaver strategy alongside the marketing plan and relevant customer comms.

You will therefore have the solid business acumen to understand marketing and sales objectives and the skills to develop plans and strategies to achieve these. Blue sky thinking is welcomed here!

You will have experience creating engaging and compelling comms turning awareness into leads and advocacy and then retention in the brand space ensuring customers is at the heart of all comms.

This role requires an analytical person who is comfortable working with data, numbers and research in order to develop, implement and optimise insight led marketing strategies and programmes.

Financial services isn’t mandatory but this role does involve the regulatory aspect as you’d expect.

You will be collaborative, future focussed, proactive person who is comfortable leading from the front and driving key marketing initiatives within the business alongside inspiring your team to ensure best in class insight led brand and marketing communications.
