The Mental Health Foundation is NZ’s only national mental health charity. They work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders, run and partner in nearly 50 programmes and projects around Aotearoa.

More About The Role

This role will report to the Communications & Marketing Team Lead, and will develop and implement external and internal communications and marketing strategies to engage Māori audiences.

The role is varied but includes

Lead the strategy development and execution of communications and marketing activities (including campaigns) for various MHF programmes and projects.

Support the community engagement and Māori development teams to engage with Māori individuals, communities, whānau, hapū and iwi to ensure MHF programmes, projects and resources are authentic, useful, supportive and relevant to Māori.

Liaise directly with stakeholders and funders, maintaining strong, positive operational relationships.

Write and develop content for MHF websites. So Who Are You?

You have 3-4 years in a similar role, are proficient in writing, editing, interviewing and overseeing the production of publications. Fluent in Te Reo will be a bonus, but not essential. Above all else, a fun personality and the ability to communicate at all levels will be key to succeeding.
