Job Description:

The Opportunity I'm representing a leading corporate finance firm with a solid presence in the region and looking to expand their presence in the restructuring & turnaround market in New Zealand.Within the Restructuring and Turnaround space this firm deals with under-performing companies that are experiencing financial distress. Key responsibilities

Detailed financial analysis on behalf of organisations experiencing financial distress

Independent business reviews/IAs and business restructuring reports on behalf of creditors

Formal insolvency projects

Business valuation & M&A activities A key component of the role will include financial modelling, valuations and independent business reviews and appraisals. You will be exposed to a wide variety of industries and sectors. The Ideal Profile I would be keen to hear from professionals from either one of the Big 4 or international mid tier firms from any of the following service lines: Valuations/Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Restructuring/Business Recovery & Deals/M&A Advisory.The ideal candidate would be 2-4 years post qualification, with the relevant certifications (CA/CPA or CFA) or almost qualified. You’ll have excellent client and stakeholder management skills gained from dealing with a diverse and extensive portfolio. Strong financial modelling & advanced excel skills are a prerequisite for this role.
