Job Description:

The opportunity

This is a new opportunity for an enthusiastic Joiner who enjoys being involved at the sales and client end of the project delivery process. You must have Joinery industry experience to apply for this role. This Canterbury Joinery manufacturer has had a successful reestablishment and growth phase following 2011. A focus on quality and service delivery and a passion for joinery has led to nationwide clients returning with repeat business and referrals. Our client considers that there is still room for growth and this is your opportunity to use your individual passion, innovation and knowledge of joinery within a business with the same shared focus.

The role

The essence of this role is building and maintaining client relationships. Obviously, this incorporates sales to new and existing clients, but not sales from a price book. Bespoke projects and manufacturing are the core of this business and as a result there is always opportunity to bring innovation and value engineering to the process, working with the wider team to ensure delivery that exceeds client expectations while maximising return.

The position reports to the Sales Manager and you will enjoy the open team-based culture of the business, working collaboratively with the owners through to the joiners crafting the products.

This business has been built on Joinery expertise and therefore to fulfil this key role you must have joinery experience and production knowledge to support the sales and estimating process.

The team is a critical element of success of the business and this will require you to live the values, show initiative and appreciate the benefits that come from the wider group.

Bespoke manufacturing always means there are problems to solve. Your experience, ability and attitude to delivering solutions will also be essential in this role.
