About the Role

The core responsibility of the role is to partner and work alongside the Managing Director to ensure the businesses strategies, processes and procedures are structured to support the entry into the NZ market. You will deliver operating standards which will streamline business operations and ensure good corporate governance. The role covers the key national channels of liquor retail as well as the on-premise strategy and execution for NZ. The role will also assist in leading and driving high performing business teams as well as lending presence to setting up key processes and reporting aligned to the companies objectives.

This is a newly created role established to manage the growth of Thirsty Camel’s portfolio and presence in the NZ market. It sits within the senior leadership team and will contribute to the development and delivery of clear strategic business plans, customer plans, trading terms and distributor relationships. It is an opportunity to move into a broad role encompassing elements of sales, operations and marketing.

About You

You will come from an FMCG background, ideally with liquor or beverage experience. The role is broad in its scope, so you may have a range of experience within Sales, Category Management, Strategy or Commercial Marketing. You will be systematic in your approach and your attention to detail will be exceptional. We are looking for a forward thinking and adaptive individual who can grow alongside the expected growth of the company. You will need to be ambitious and willing to get involved with multiple functions across the business.
