Job Description:

This client is a family owned business with their head office located in Timaru. They have been established for decades and are in the manufacturing industry. They have a great culture and believe in building quality and sustainable products. This company is ever growing and they are looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join their team.

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all the parts needed for manufacturing is available within the required timeframes. You will also be required to invoice clients at the end of a project.


Ordering materials

Coordinate and manage suppliers and agreements

Invoicing clients and suppliers

Manage purchasing system

Manage freight and logistics

Forecasting of products and materials

Monthly reports
