Job Description:

Our client provides food safety and biosecurity services to the food and primary production sectors worldwide. Wholly owned by the NZ Government, they have built a solid reputation for delivering expert services and value to the entire food supply chain. Based at over 100 locations throughout Australasia and Singapore, they work alongside customers in over 40 countries worldwide, to assure the safety and quality of food being produced for millions of people.

The laboratory in Auckland is currently looking for a Purchasing Administrator to work within their Support Services team. This is a 3-month temporary assignment, starting immediately.

The role will be responsible for

Timely and accurate data entry

Stock inventory and matching

Ensuring inwards goods are receipted and label correctly

Purchasing consumables according to specific procedures and guidelines

Maintaining accurate records

Supporting the Managers and Supervisors within the team

The ideal candidate

Be available to start immediately

Have excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel etc.)

Have previous administration experience (preferably in a fast paced environment)

A quick learner, able learn new systems and processesBe physically fit

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
