Job Description:

The Business

As a well-established, NZX listed mainstay, this business had continued to deliver superb growth and while making prudent decisions internally to keep the business agile in an ever-changing market.

The Role

Reporting directly into an impressive Group FC and leading a team of 6/7 direct reports, this position will design, implement, and deliver all accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the business’s property portfolio. The key duties will include the following

Preparation & delivery of all budget & forecast reporting packs, with insightful analysis & commentary

Management & sign off of all property accounting – including a consolidated view across all assets

Robust management of OPEX

Provide analysis & commentary into financial & non-financial information to support the business with commercial decision making

Oversee all capital accounting and reporting, including developments, large projects, maintenance CAPEX etc.

Leadership & coaching of a team of 6/7 direct reports

To be considered for this position you must be a fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) with a number of years in a leadership position. You will also have a strong management accounting background, well versed with budgeting, forecasting and financial/commercial analysis.

Experience with property accounting will be highly advantageous to your application.
