Job Description:

The opportunity:
Due to company growth and based in South Auckland, an exciting opportunity is now open to join this tight knit team who are highly skilled in designing and developing state of the art machinery for the domestic and global markets. Majority of the customers are located outside of New Zealand and therefore travel will be involved to ensure the high standards and quality of customer relationships are developed and maintained.

The role:
This position leads and is responsible for the end-to-end project management of all production line manufacturing/installations/upgrade projects, domestic and overseas. It also leads all trials and provides technical follow-up support to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Project management
Contribute to the development/design of new products
Managing installations and commissioning
Maintain & develop key customer/supplier relationships
Oversee equipment trials
Management of supply and customer contracts
H & S compliance
About you:
To manage this position successfully, you will be a Degree Qualified Engineer (Mechanical) with strong project management and overall leadership experience in production line manufacturing (ideally in heat treatment furnace). You will have strong communication and relationship building skills along with problem solving and time management skill sets.

Travel is a major component of this position, so you will be free to travel often in this role.
