A little bit about the Opportunity: Panasonic is looking for someone genuinely passionate about coordinating, managing and delivering the training programs to key retail staff and consumers to increase their product knowledge, grow brand awareness, and ultimately to increase sales. This role is responsible for creating and delivering product training and continuous education training programmes for the dealer network and staff across the country. You will do this by working with the Product and Key Account Managers to create and deliver end-user programs and online content that support the field sales staff to train confidently and tailoring training material and courseware to ensure it maximises product value, understanding and delivers a positive training experience. You will also support the field sales team by developing strong relationships with key stores and promoting initiatives to increase engagement with the Panasonic brand.As you are working with the retail channel there is a requirement to work some late nights and also some weekends. You will also get the opportunity to attend a variety of events that will take you away from Auckland for an overnighter. This role will provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate yourknowledge of technology products to a lot of different people. You naturally like to teach, have a passion about the technology and be comfortable talking in front of groups. We want to see your energy and enthusiasm that will make training fun, dynamic and be the trainer everyone wants to learn from. Ideally, you will have a background in training but you could also be in sales or accountmanagement roles and be ready for a new challenge. So, what is your background?
Practical experience delivering and designing instructor-led training programmes
Strong presentation skills and ability to build effective training material that engages audiences
Passionate to provide consistently high levels of training with an ability to deliver information to a diverse group – adapting both style and content along the way
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, bringing a great sense of humour and outgoing nature to help engage an audience
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise projects to ensure things get done
Highly collaborative with functional teams and departments to ensure value-added training is given to support the sales process
Able to keep calm under pressure, work with tight deadlines and willing to accept constructive feedback for continuous improvement
Have an inquisitive mind – actively seeks to test and engage relevant staff to better understand features, benefits and challenges of product to inform training.
