The role

New Zealand is a tough, remote and unbroken country with surrounding islands which experience some of the world's harshest unpredictable climates. Our gear is designed, tested and proven to perform in the most extreme conditions.

As part of the Design Team you will be involved in the technical development of purpose built apparel, backpacks, footwear, camping tents, sleeping bags and more. This opportunity will allow you to fully immerse yourself into the environment the products are intended for, spend time with experts in the field, and travel the world hunting for the latest technologies to generate high performance products for our market.

Skills & Experience Desired

Actively involved in outdoor pursuits and a passion for the environment is essential

Illustrator and / or CLO experience

Design skills (i.e. scaled Working drawings, diagrams and Range board presentations)

Construction knowledge in apparel and equipment products

Textiles knowledge

Microsoft knowledge

Planning capabilities

Research and target market knowledge

High communication skills

Team orientated

Environmentally minded.
