About the Role

Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager the role supports the rest of the Communications team in all aspects of corporate comms, including planning, media relations, and maintaining the integrity of Lotto NZ’s reputation in external communications. You will have ownership of reputational management, customer communication, telling stories of Lotto NZ’s winners and increasing awareness of Lotto NZ’s purpose. It also supports the social responsibility team by providing communications advice and support, with a focus on Lotto NZ’s world-leading responsible gaming programme.

About You

To be successful in this role you will likely have at least 3 years of communications experience. We are looking for a proactive and innovative Communications Advisor who can think on their feet. There’s a lot of different facets to this role and we don’t need you to be experienced across all of them, but we do need someone with plenty of practice in developing and implementing communications plans and experience writing high quality comms for an external audience. Exposure to community PR and media would be advantageous but what’s more important than that is your attitude. Lotto NZ have a strong culture, the team is fun, genuine, and really want to help. There is a lot of energy and drive and the manager of this team is knowledgeable, fosters a collaborative team culture and supports flexible working.
