The Role

As the Payroll Specialist, you will provide internal and external customers with professional end-to-end payrolling services. You will be responsible for the processing of waged and salaried employees and have a proven background and understanding of NZ legislation. The role will be reporting to a supportive and dedicated Payroll Team Leader and sit across the wider Finance and HR function.

Skills and Requirements

Calculating and processing of the weekly and monthly pay runs in a timely and accurate manner

Regularly monitoring changes in payroll and NZ legislation and ensuring high levels of compliance

Completing month-end payroll journals, reconciliations and accruals

Continuously looking to improve and make recommendations with regards to systems, processes and innovation

Ensuring payroll queries are responded to a professional standard

Your Experience

Extensive payroll experience acquired across a large organisation with a high level of understanding of payroll and time & attendance systems

Previous knowledge and exposure to PayGlobal and ADI (or similar) will be beneficial

Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office suite
