Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a skilled medical secretary/PA to provide administration support to a busy specialist with the set up of a new practice. You will mainly be based on the shore with the possibility of some work in Newmarket or remotely from home. The role is initially 3 mornings a week working around 4 hours a day (up to 12-15 hours a week). We need someone with a solid background in medical administration and Outlook management with a can-do attitude to assist with all the administration related to this clinic. You will be assisting with setting up some cloud based applications as well as regular clinic based policies and procedures.
About the role
Secretarial support including outlook diary management
Management of an inbox, appointments and notes
Assisting with setting up clinics both in-house and virtually
3 mornings a week, initially in Takapuna, expanding to Newmarket
Some time spent working from home (to be worked out)
Less patient/public facing, more back-end office and internal support
The ideal candidate
Experienced in medical administration and terminology
Self directed and confident
Southern Cross pre approvals
ACC paperwork
Booking client appointments and follow ups.
Experienced in PA-level support
Medical typing experience a plus!
Clean police record
