About the Role

The Packaging & Maintenance Manager is a leadership people-focused role, responsible for ensuring the team meets targets aligned to productivity and efficiency whilst upholding quality and safety.

A key focus will be to develop and drive continuous improvement, through planned maintenance systems, TPM principles and lean strategies. Your experience within a similar role and exposure to a unionized environment will be advantageous. You will be excited to support their journey in gearing from manual to more automated processes over time. You will also have support from others who are highly knowledgeable in this field and industry.

About You

You will bring leadership experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment where building a great team culture is paramount. You will have a strong work ethic, a very positive attitude and desire to continue to develop yourself and your career. Your communication skills will be fantastic, you will be a strong team player, you enjoy systems improvement and delivering a range of business efficiencies.

You will have

A tertiary degree in Engineering or relevant field

10 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing operations

Extensive packaging and maintenance management experience

Knowledge of HSE

Exceptional ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
