About the Role
Your primary responsibility is to deliver a coordinated & strategic approach for your business unit by overseeing operations and resolving operational issues.
You will need to mentor the Service Delivery & Ops Supervisors that report to you and work to develop a high performing, and collaborative team by monitoring and reporting on business unit progress.
As the Operations & Service manager, you will be the point of contact for escalations and high-level queries from other business units, your direct reports and external stakeholders.
Additionally you will be leading performance management, disciplinary and employment relations procedures.
To be considered for this role, I am looking for the following
3+ years in a leadership roles in transport, freight, logistics, a blue-collar environment or similar.
Experience with employment relations or experience in a unionised environment is advantageous.
Analytical & reporting skills, and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Resilience, versatility and the ability to work at pace.A full, clean drivers licence.
