About the Company

Our client has a long and proud history within the herbal, nutritional and complementary healthcare product space. With over 60 years of scientific research into herbal remedies, they are at the forefront of natural medicine research and development. The company is looking to continue its strong growth within the FMCG grocery space and has an ambitious and exciting strategy to accelerate that growth by bringing in a range of new products through 2020 and beyond. The business is looking to bring on board an exceptional National Account Manager to further develop and build relationships with Foodstuffs and Woolworths NZ to successfully manage the launch of these products.

About the Role

Reporting into the Head of Sales the National Account Manager for Grocery you will actively manage a portfolio of quality natural supplement and skincare products across all grocery accounts as well as e-commerce retailers. There is also an element of people management as you will lead and manage the grocery distribution partner to ensure strategy is implemented at store level. There will be an emphasis on launching new products with a focus on distribution, share of shelf and off location displays. This is a crucial role for the business and comes at a time when they are driving growth in their category across NZ.

About You

You will come from a strong FMCG Key Account or National Account Management background, ideally with experience managing both Foodstuffs and Woolworths NZ. You are a natural leader and be able to actively manage people with a good understanding of the day to days of a field sales team. The company has a very close-knit team environment and you will bring an amazing attitude and personality to the rest of the team. You’ll be hungry, determined to achieve at a high level and not be afraid to get involved within all areas of sales within the business.
