Working as a member of the Project Engineering team you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of industrial machinery, integrating equipment into existing or new production lines. You will offer a high standard of technical advice and problem solving, and at times, provide leadership to the Installation Technicians during on-site installations and training to customers in the use of the equipment. Some travel will be involved (several nights per month) as the company has clients around the country.
Trades qualifications in Fitting / Production Engineering / Maintenance Engineering.
Ideally you will have 5 plus years’ experience in the installation and commissioning of automated industrial machinery. Alternatively, you may be a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to move away from shift maintenance role to focus on project work.
Be able to work independently and within a team environment to meet project deadlines.
You must possess strong problem-solving and hands-on capabilities.
You must be able to provide training to customers for use of the products. This means having excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
You must be computer literate.
You will be practical, self-motivated and highly organised.
