The role

As the Marketing Automation Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in driving digital performance by creating seamless experiences. Reporting to the Digital Performance Manager, you’ll be part of a team responsible for accelerating growth by delivering personalised, fully tailored journeys at scale.

Balancing strategy with tactical execution, you’ll be constantly learning from live marketing automation performance. You’ll be data-savvy, commercially astute and apt at working with both business and technical stakeholders to drive outcomes that deliver high quality customer conversion and overall market share growth.

Human-centred journey design

Putting customers at the core of everything you do and working with specialists in this space, you’ll use a human-centred design approach to understand who the users are, what they need, and design marketing automation journeys that ensure every conversation adds value.

Drive innovation within the customer journey.

Create new ideas for optimising the channel mix. Journey strategy & execution

Utilise Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Sales Cloud and determine the best approach to creating journeys within the outbound channels.

Deliver consistent and targeted messages to different audiences at the right time across all regions.

Work with the Digital Products & Engineering team to deliver the data-marketing strategy for trigger-based automation within the platform.

Deliver personalisation using data and smart campaign flow capabilities. Data drivenCreate marketing automated journeys based on qualitative and quantitative data via a data-driven test and learn program.

Build hypotheses to champion a data-driven, test and learn approach to optimising user experiences throughout the lifecycle.

Analyse marketing automation experiment performance and journeys, report on results and share learnings with the wider business, helping to drive business enablement. About you

Degree level education or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in email marketing and/or marketing automation platform and digital experimentation.

5+ years of experience in email marketing and/or marketing automation platform and digital experimentation.

Experience and expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales

Cloud, SQL, AMPscript is essential.

Google Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, Display/Retargeting experience would be a huge bonus, although is not essential.

Skilled in HTML and the ability to write script code is a plus.

Be a high performer with a commitment to transparency and direct feedback.
