About the Role

The purpose of this role is to manage logistics and shipping with offshore manufacturers and deliver products to sites worldwide. This is a stunning opportunity to work across a complex network of sites. Work with different stakeholders and make tangible improvements to supply chain system efficiencies.

Key tasks include

Ensure complete and correct shipping documents reach customers and brokers on-time for clearance of orders

Ensure weekly shipping schedules are accurate and communicated to relevant customers and the business

Review and reduce freight costs with selected freight forwarders

Analyse logistics costs to ensure branches and resources are used at optimum capacity and levels

About You

We are looking for someone with ideally at least 5 years logistics experience and good knowledge of international shipping. You will be incredible at juggling priorities, deadlines, can keep calm during busy times. Furthermore, you keep an eye on what can be improved, you are system savvy, and you are known for your diligent work ethic. In a busy role where challenges can arise, it is also important that you can step up, be bold and really show how driven you are at finding solutions to achieve outcomes.

To be successful, you will need

Logistics experience and knowledge of international shipping

Excellent supply chain administration skills, ability to manage a high volume of shipments and prioritise

Willingness to get stuck in, roll your sleeves up to help the team

Enthusiastic about process improvement

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

Positive, can-do attitude
