About the Role
The Logistics Manager – South Island is a key leadership position within the Supply Chain team. Overseeing logistics operations in the region, it has responsibility for logistics finances, to recommend and lead CapEx investments. The role has four direct reports, which cover inwards goods, warehousing, inventory, distribution, export/import container loading, 3PL carriers and contractors for freight and storage.
In this role you will lead TPM in the South Island and be the champion for developing a best practice environment. Key to your success will be your ability to maintain a safe and productive workplace, problem-solve and manage changing demand/resources, effectively drive continuous improvements and operational efficiencies.
Ideally tertiary qualified, you have management experience in supply chain/logistics or warehousing management. You must have highly developed communication and relationship building skills. What will be looked upon will be your ability to demonstrate strong practical experience in logistics, especially in inventory and warehousing, financial analysis.

Great computer skills, preferably in SAP

Commercial and strategy nous to develop a best practice environment
