About the Role

This role is critical in managing the international inward logistics for a huge category. Reporting to the Procurement Manager and as part of the supply chain team, there will be support and training to ensure your success.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

Work closely with all suppliers, manage all open purchase orders from dispatch from suppliers, through to shipping to warehouses

Monitor all shipments and communicate any possible delays

Liaise with freight forwarders and seek for the best rates

Ensure inventory is tracked in the system

Arrange and manage all export and intercompany shipments

Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers

About You

Having worked in a similar role, you can hit the ground running and can confidently speak to your skills and capability in handling freight and logistics matters.

You are curious about implementing best practice procedures and importantly you love finding ways to drive operational and cost efficiencies across the business. If you are motivated to develop your career in supply chain this is the perfect opportunity.

You will ideally have

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Knowledge of the freight logistics industry

Impressive attention to detail and accuracy

Impressive attention to detail and accuracy

Exceptional communication with both internal teams and external suppliers

Ability to prioritise and can keep calm under pressure

Skilled in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (advantageous)
