Lead Business Analyst
We’re seeking experienced lead Business Analysts for a new permanent opportunity with a large government organisation based in Wellington.
Leading a team of 5 technical business analysts, within a wider team of up to 18, you’ll effectively be the Practice Leads 2IC. The role is to provide work planning and management over the multiple work streams covering a number of business groups.
For this role, you’ll need to be either an experienced senior level or prior lead business analyst, essentially you must have experience of successfully managing workstreams rather than people.
With a minimum of 4+ plus years in a lead/senior position, you’ll also need to demonstrate the following
Experience and knowledge with Agile delivery methodologies Scrum, Kanban, LEAN is essential.
Experience in planning and managing the work across multiple BAU business groups, ensures leads are assigned and managing the work and ensuring the key stakeholders are involved.
Success in gathering and analysing business requirements across different user groups, and provide advice on business solutions.
Own the teams processes to ensure they are completed and updated and regularly reviewed and maintained.
You will be experienced in analysing complex issues and developing effective options for action.
Excellent relationship, communication and writing skills.
Previous experience of working within the NZ Public sector is also highly regarded. Salary for this role will be in the region of $115,000 – 120,000 per year, plus benefits.
