The Kaiwhakahaere/Team Leader is responsible for the provision of effective leadership and management of the Social Practice team in the delivery of professional social intervention services to whanau and the community. The position will primarily ensure that authorized social practice models are at the core of service delivery and that best practice and excellence of service delivery is carried out and will direct the Kairuruku/Social Practice Workers in their roles as facilitators of positive change and advocates of peace and reconciliation. The Kaiwhakahaere/Team Leader will also work with senior management to introduce innovate and tikanga based programs to deliver results-based accountabilities.
Leading the Social Practice services of the organisation - Provide effective and decisive leadership to Social Practice Work team
Client Advocacy - Supports individuals and whanau to advocate on their own behalf.
Programmes - Participates in the review and revision of programmes to meet client and community need, and contract specifications and guidelines need Please note this role is only suitable for someone with permanent residency or NZ citizenship.
