About the Company
Our client is a locally owned and operated Property Management agency. A small operation located in Grey Lynn which manages 200 properties they are looking for a junior property manager. With a laid-back office vibe and a down to earth team of 3 this environment would suit an individual who is happy to work in a low-key office. (sometimes you may be the only person there as the managers are in and out) You will also be in and out of the office driving to inspections and present at viewings for potential tenants. You will be provided with a car and fuel card as part of your package!
About the Role
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic administrator to assist this property management team. You will provide administrative support to the team and play a pivotal role in keeping the office running smoothly.
Advertise listings and manage responses for new properties
Negotiate leases and tenancy agreements
Collect rent and bonds
Arrange and carry out routine and exit inspections
Investigate and resolve any tenant complaints
Organise property maintenance
Review property maintenance, security, and tenancy contracts
About You
You will have a high level of professional communication and ability to coordinate administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office.
You will bring considerable administration experience to this position, a property management background would be a bonus!Advanced computer literacy within the MS office suite is a must and prior use of the Palace system would be beneficial.
You will be proactive and flexible in your working style, keen to meet any challenge and help out wherever necessary.
You will be available to work 10am-6pm for 2 or 3 days a week and the remainder of the time will be standard office hours.
You will have the flexibility to work for 1 to 2 Saturdays a month for 3-4 hours.
