About the Company

The company are industry leaders in their sector and is in the automotive industry. They deliver to most car dealers in Auckland and have various clients of all sizes. They have a small team that you will sit in, the office atmosphere is formal with a focused attitude as they are a high performing team.

About the Role

The core role is to support customers within the automotive sector all around New Zealand. Your role will be predominantly answering incoming calls from customers, placing orders, following up with production and ETA and working with the warehouse to understand stock levels and production lead times.

Call volumes can be high at times, you will be required to respond to customers calmly and as soon as possible, setting expectations for customers that may have a long wait. You will be given technical training as calls are car parts and how you can assist the customer with their vehicle needs.

In addition to the above, your day to day will include

Being the first contact for incoming calls and emails from customers about product orders, following up with delivery times and investigating ETA on orders.

Ensuring stock level management, scheduling deliveries of stock and delivering realistic timeframes to clients.

Handling inbound calls regarding quality and shipping issues and offering a resolution as soon as possible.

Being the face of the company when people visit the office, providing service and help where necessary

Ad hoc duties when and as required.

The standard hours for this role are Mon – Fri 8 am – 5 pm and you will be based in Wiri (40 Hours per week).

About You

To be considered for this role, we are looking for resilience as this role does include conflict resolution and complaint handling. Like most phone-based customer service roles, this role will include occasionally handling difficult customers. We are looking for those who have previous customer service experience ideally within the automotive sector. You will have previous experience within a phone-based environment, sales support role or face to face vehicle service role.We also require you to be a self-starter and be able to keep your head down in a busy environment. Other requirements for this role are

Good communication skills- the ability to communicate with a range of customer types
