The purpose of the Human Resources Business Partner

It is simple really – support the business to achieve its strategic goals and objectives by engaging line managers and employees across the country to support the implementation of HR operational strategies, systems, policies and procedures. You will guide, coach and advise managers on performance management, capability development and talent Management. They want you to enable an agile workforce and improve management capability so the business can confidently lead and develop its people day in day out.

What responsibilities can you expect?

Initiate and drive best practice initiatives through the business

Develop and maintain strong relationships which allows you to provide effective coaching and support to managers

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Consultants with regards to New Zealand legislation and recruitment projects as well as collaborating with the wider HR team

Ensuring of compliance with all relevant legislation across the HR function

What we require from you3 years + experience within pure HR role/s working with New Zealand employment law

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline

Extensive experience working with collective agreements and providing advice on ER and IR issues.

Strong commercial and operational experience

Strong presentation skills including communication both verbal and written
