About the Role

Reporting into the General Manager this critical role is tasked to actively seek opportunities to deliver revenue growth across multiple verticals through exceptional hunting, service & relationship management skills.

OneNet has developed a strong market proposition for organisations within the “100 to 1000 seat” segment across multiple sectors. This role is supported by a trusted, competitive partnership model with an excellent reputation in the market that has provided reliable service over decades. This role will actively seek out target businesses and contacts building up a portfolio of opportunities. Breaking through barriers with a strategic sell, this role will develop relationships with GMs, business owners and senior executives including CFOs, CIO’s, Tech and IT Managers. You must have a proven record of successfully getting in front of and engaging with these key stakeholders.

This role is critical for ensuring optimum service levels for these key clients through a strong OneNet presence - this will be achieved through an understanding of client requirements (as well as competitor/market activity) and offering competitive solutions, acting as the conduit between the client and the engineering team.

You will be someone who can identify opportunities, build trust and strong commercial relationships with your clients. This can be achieved through understanding customer pain points and having the ability to solve customer problems through tailor made solutions-based services created by the technically minded internal team. The OneNet value proposition is strong.

This role is championed through the talented engineering team with their high levels of technical competency, coupled with the Business Development Managers sound technical understanding, ability to spot opportunities and solutions led thinking.

About You

Tertiary qualified, you will have exceptional sales and business development experience. It is essential you have proven experience building up a targeted portfolio of opportunities in the IT Services sector, ideally with cloud- based solutions. We are looking for talent who have achieved over and above their growth and sales targets over a long sales cycle and maintained strong client relationships. You will have an eye for seeking market opportunities within both new and existing client base.You will have worked with a good scope of business sizes/stakeholders with demonstrated results, being able to break barriers and to effectively sell in technical solutions and develop new and existing relationships through new products and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities, growing solid relationships. You will therefore have solid client account management skills as well.

You will have high EQ and with a sound technical understanding of cloud-based products. You will also be solutions focussed in order to credibly discuss client’s challenges/requirements and collaborate with your internal team in order to provide excellent levels of service in order to provide opportunities to showcase solutions to meet client’s needs.
