The Company
This complex Technology organisation plays an integral role in the smooth operating of New Zealand’s Health sector.
The exciting business is operating at the cutting edge of technology and their varied operations are scaling up considerably following significant investment. They work across a broad range of areas including cyber security, transformation and business analytics.
The opportunity
In line with this period of growth, they now require a commercial finance professional to business partner with a broad range of stakeholders, up to GM level. You will be expected to fully immerse yourself in the coal face of the business, provide insights and highlight risks to your business partners through number crunching, and deep dive analysis.
Your responsibilities will include but not restricted to
Business Partner with senior leadership to provide trend analysis and commentary on KPIs that will have an impact on business performance / operations
Educate your stakeholders on costing and pricing
Prepare monthly management accounts
Support each business unit on budgeting, forecasting and long range planning
Board reporting and liaison with external auditors through that process

Your profileCA Qualified, ideally from a Big 4 background, further enhanced by commercial finance/management accounting exposure in a complex environment. The role will require you to have strong emotional intelligence with the ability to persuade and influence senior stakeholders.
