The NZ based company have operated successfully across NZ and Australian markets providing packaging, casing and equipment solutions to the red meat, smallgoods & food manufacturing industries. About the Role
Reporting through to the National Sales & Marketing Manager you will be the Account Manager for the Upper North Island. This is a unique role in a technical business supplying the red meat, smallgoods manufacture, industrial food manufacturing and explosive industries. You will be tasked with maintaining, developing, and nurturing relationships with stakeholders from floor staff to executive levels across the customer base. You will provide technical expertise, solutions and recommendations based on the customers needs and the complex and extensive product range the business offers. The company is a market leader globally and offers a premium range of products which you will leverage to your advantage. Outside of the direct to customer relationships you will also be tasked with maintaining the relationship with the company’s distributor who supply on their behalf to smaller end users and accounts.
This is an opportunity for a technically minded and resilient Account Manager or Business Development Manager to step into an autonomous role in a business-critical territory and truly stamp your mark within the New Zealand market.
You will be operating in this Territory remotely, from a home-based office reporting through to the businesses head office in Wellington. You will ideally come from a mid-senior sales role within the red meat, smallgoods, or butchery industries as learning all the products & processes the company operates with will be extensive. We are looking for a motivated, resourceful, resilient, and positive person who has a thirst for success and wants to make the territory their own. If you do not have experience within the above industries you will have been in sales roles in a B2B environment within a technical, solutions-based business.
