About the Company

Nation-wide, progressive kiwi brand operating out of multiple Distribution Centres, this particular one is based just outside of Hamilton.

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident leader who takes pride in inspiring their team and ensuring daily operations are set up to run as smoothly as possible. This Department Manager will look after all outbound operations, split between 3 shifts and respective team leaders – also close liaison with other functions and managers. You’ll need to manage staff resourcing, budget and day-to-day processes. An eye for continuous improvement will never go amiss and a real emphasis on people leadership is key.

About You

You’ll be a practised leader who knows how to motivate teams and get the best out of everyone, further inspiring an already positive working culture. You’ll be well versed in warehousing operations and the requirements of a productive outbound function.

5+ years Ops/Management experience

Excellent understanding of DC processes

Understanding of cost management and working to budget

Natural communicator and driven individual
