About the role

As a database developer, you will be perform SQL development tasks such as creating new or optimising existing T-SQL code (stored procedures, functions), and reviewing and approving T-SQL code written by software developers. Develop new or update existing automation codes that the Data Team owns, which are written in PowerShell and T-SQL. Eventually this role will transition into a Data Engineer role, building pipelines, ETL, data models and reporting!

Ideally, you will have

3+ years experience heavily using SQL

Previous experience in tuning T-SQL stored procedures and functions

Previous experience in typical DBA operation tasks

A strong understanding of SQL Best Practices and the ability to communicate such

Need to have a growth and driven mindset and want to eventually become a data engineer

Collaborative and inquisitive demeanor.
