The organisation and opportunity
Our client is a not for profit organisation based in South Auckland who require a special individual to lead a team who provide support for people in Counties Manukau.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday with normal office hours. You would be joining an incredibly passionate group of people who really care about the service they provide.
The role, in a nut shell
This full-time role will manage a team of dedicated staff and also include front-line support with clients. The Team Leader is also responsible for keeping accurate statistics and records
You will lead, motivate and coordinate your team. You'll provide support to them, and mentor the team as required.
To be successful in this role
Relevant qualifications and professional registration in social work, counselling, psychotherapy or similar
Previous leadership experience
Demonstrated relationship and networking skills
Experience in crisis intervention desirable
High level of computer skills
Applicants require New Zealand citizenship or residency
