Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Community Health Nurse to work in an ongoing temporary role, starting at the end of January 2021 and keeping the successful applicant busy for a few months, with the potential to extend. Bring your experience working with whānau to this challenging and rewarding role. You will be focusing on long-term chronic conditions including diabetes, respiratory and cardiac in the West Auckland community and be actively involved in health promotion, through education to the patients and their whānau.

To be considered you will have

A current practising certificate and registration

Experience working within the community- West Auckland a bonus!

Experience in referral management

A commitment to Te Reo me nga Tikanga Maori

The ability to speak Te Reo is beneficial!

A holistic approach to health and wellbeing for Maori

Good relationship building skills

Sound problem solving and decision making skills

Full and clean drivers license
