Job Description:

We have regular, casual shift work available for reliable, H&S conscious workers. The work involves working at the Wellington port helping to assist loading log vessels and/or unloading vehicles. This is not overly physical work but requires a good level of physical and mental fitness as the shifts are 12 hours and can be day or night shift.

No previous specific experience required. But necessary attributes are

Own reliable transport

Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Be committed and reliable (shifts are 07:00-19:00 day or nightshift 19:00-07:00). Start and finish times can vary.

Have a great attitude to H&S and be able to follow instructions and processes to the letter.

To be eligible to unload vehicles you will need a Full Class 1 licence (manual required).
