About the Role
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer the Field Sales Manager is responsible for growing the Retail Customer and End User channels through leadership of the field sales team and retail customer management. This is a big coaching & sales leadership position where you will be responsible for inspiring a team of 9 Territory Managers across the country and implementing best practice sales disciplines, processes & structures to drive performance. You will also support the execution of marketing campaigns & activities targeting reseller, DIY and trade end user customers.
This job requires a smart, savvy, enthusiastic sales leader - someone with a passion for leading people and a strong knowledge and time within a consumer related business. We are looking for someone who comes from the Building & Construction industry, someone who understands the DIY retail and End User customers (Group Home Builders, Trades people etc). There is a strong preference for someone who has spent time and proven themselves in a multinational business environment because of the structured sales disciplines you would bring to the business and role. You must be strategic and commercially astute with a high level of organisation. As the Head office is based in Hamilton and this is a national role you will be required to spend time in the field with your team up and down the country so you must be open to travel.
